What is Scouting?

Scouting is a members club for boys and girls aged between six and twenty-five. The new 2005 program enables your children to grow, achieve and learn as they move up through the different sections of the group. The leaders and older scouts attempt to create a balanced program of activities, covering a wide range of subjects. To help the leaders prepare these balanced program's, the Scout association have supplied them with guidelines for a number of program zones, methods and underlying ways of working (details of these can be found under each section).

Can You Help?

As scouting continues to become more and more popular, the 8th do need more leaders to assist in the running of our Beaver, Cub and Scout sections. If you are interested in helping out, please contact our Group Scout Leader by email:
